Shveta Miglani is the author or the new book, “Navigate Your Career: Strategies for Success in New Roles and Promotions,” and until recently the head of People Development Experience for Micron Technology. In that role she fulfilled the growth and development needs of all 40,000 Micron employees across 18 countries, leading a global team dedicated to creating a culture of continuous learning through digital transformation of the learning space. Shveta held leadership roles at GlobalFoundries, SanDisk, Palo Alto Networks and LiveRamp. She is passionate about Future of Work and is currently working on upskilling and reskilling efforts.

Shveta is also an official Member of Forbes HR Council, an Executive Board Member of CityYear and a member of World Economic Forum. Shveta holds a Bachelor’s in Economics and Sociology, Master’s of Science in Instructional Technology and a Master’s in Organizational Development. She recently completed her Ph.D. in Leadership Development and Organizational Development.

Mike is currently the Senior Director of Talent and Organization Development at Applied Materials, a semiconductor capital equipment manufacturer located in Santa Clara, California. He has extensive experience in high tech organizations and several functions including Manufacturing, R&D and Human Resources. He currently focuses on organization development and leadership development. He has traveled extensively to Europe and Asia and has lived abroad on an expatriate assignment in Dresden, Germany. He has been involved in startups and mergers including a major one between Fujitsu and Advanced Micro Devices which created the company Spansion for Flash memory integrated circuits. He has a Masters in Education, MBA and Ph.D. in Human and Organizational Systems from Fielding Graduate University. He is also currently an adjunct professor at San Jose State University in their Business program.

Tsedal Neeley (@tsedal) is the Naylor Fitzhugh Professor of Business Administration at the Harvard Business School. Her work focuses on how leaders can scale their organizations by developing and implementing global and digital strategies. She regularly advises top leaders who are embarking on virtual work and large scale-change that involves global expansion, digital transformation, and becoming more agile.

Tsedal heads and teaches in the first-year required Leadership and Organizational Behavior course in the MBA program that focuses on how to lead effectively; the curriculum addresses group behavior and performance, organization design, change and how to align people behind a common vision. With Bill George and Krishna Palepu she co-chairs the executive offering, Leading Global Businesses, which helps top leaders develop emerging and mature market strategies in a global and increasingly digital economy. She also teaches extensively in executive programs such as Harvard Business Analytics Program. Tsedal is a recipient of the prestigious Charles M. Williams Award for Outstanding Teaching in Executive Education and the Greenhill Award for outstanding contributions to Harvard Business School. She serves on the Board of Directors of Brightcove, Brown Capital Management, Harvard Business Publishing and the Partnership Inc.

Her forthcoming book, Remote Work Revolution: Succeeding from Anywhere (2021, Harper Collins Business), provides remote workers and leaders with the best practices necessary to perform at the highest levels in their organizations. Her award-winning book, The Language of Global Success: How a Common Tongue Transforms Multinational Organizations chronicles the behind-the-scenes globalization process of a company over the course of five years. She has also published extensively in leading scholarly and practitioner-oriented outlets such as Academy of Management Journal, Organization Science, Management Science, Journal of International Business, Strategic Management Journal and Harvard Business Review, and her work has been widely covered in media outlets such as BBC, CNN, Financial Times, NPR, the Wall Street Journal, and the Economist. Her HBS case, Managing a Global Team: Greg James at Sun Microsystems, is one of the most used cases worldwide on the subject of virtual work.

Prior to her academic career, Tsedal spent ten years working for companies like Lucent Technologies and The Forum Corporation in various roles, including strategies for global customer experience, 360-degree performance software management systems, sales force/sales management development, and business flow analysis for telecommunication infrastructures. A sought-after speaker with extensive international experience, she is fluent in four languages. She holds a patent for her software simulation on global collaboration and is a member of Rakuten’s Advisory Board.

Tsedal received her Ph.D. from Stanford University in Management Science and Engineering, specializing in Work, Technology and Organizations. Tsedal was named to Thinkers50 2018 On the Radar list for making lasting contributions to management, honored as a Stanford Distinguished Alumnus Scholar and was a Stanford University School of Engineering Lieberman award recipient for excellence in teaching and research.

As CTO of EQIQ and Head of Product Development for Attuned, Mattias Hallberg is leading the company’s IT organization and driving the transformation of HR Tech. Having started his professional career in his native Sweden at an automotive electronics startup, followed by a research position at Tokyo University, he has held IT management positions in both IT service delivery and software development. Immediately before joining EQIQ, he held senior positions at Japanese online retailing giant Rakuten, where he launched six e-commerce websites. In his current role, he also works closely with peer organizations to advance business strategy and technology initiatives.

Madhukar Govindaraju is the Founder & CEO of Numly, Inc. As an experienced Tech. Entrepreneur, Madhukar brings more than two decades of experience in the software industry as a GM/Product Executive, CTO, SVP Engineering, and business leader, at some of the world’s leading software companies, including VMware, Microsoft, TriNet HR Group, Saba Software, SAP / Business Objects, Hyperion Solutions, HP, IBM, and several successful startups. He also has several patents pending in the Talent Management, Innovation Network Analytics and AI-4-HR space.

Kate Zimberg, PhD, has spent her career as an HR professional within the technology and telecommunications industries.  She has intentionally varied her career, moving between roles within HR centers of excellence - where she’s been instrumental in creating new programs, tools, and methods – and roles working directly with employees and business leaders – where she’s focused on the pragmatic application of HR practices, coaching and consulting to help drive business success.

Most recently, Kate joined F5 in March 2019 as the VP of Talent and Organizational Capability.  In this capacity, Kate works closely with other members of HR and with business leaders to drive Leadership Development, Performance Management, Talent Management, Recognition, Employee Listening, Culture, the F5 Giving Programs, and Organizational Design.

Prior to F5, Kate worked at T-Mobile as the HR leader for the Product & Technology organization where she led a team which provided coaching, change management, talent management, leader and employee development, recruiting, and HR consulting.  Kate also led the T-Mobile enterprise-wide community of leadership development consultants.  Before T-Mobile, Kate worked held multiple HR leadership roles at Microsoft, including HR business partner, talent mobility, talent management, and leading employee engagement and onboarding programs. Kate began her HR career in the telecommunications industry as an I/O Psychologist, focused on selection assessments and methods at both AT&T and Lucent Technologies. She earned both her masters and doctorate from Purdue University.

Outside of work, Kate has a passion for working with girls as a troop leader with the Girl Scouts of Western Washington.

Dave Carhart is the Vice President of People at Lattice, leading our recruiting and HR teams. Recently, Dave led the People team at Branch Metrics, a mobile analytics startup which scaled from 150 to 400+ during his time there. Before that, he led the People Partner and Compensation teams at Mulesoft through their successful IPO and acquisition by Salesforce. He started his career in various HR roles across HP, including workforce planning, HR M&A, talent management, and HR Business Partnering. He loves to play board games, bike, bowl, and get outside to cycle.

Gina Nebesar is the cofounder and Chief Product Officer of Ovia Health, the leading women’s and family health technology company. She leads product development and marketing, and has scaled the solutions to over 15 million women and families globally. Gina is also an Ovia mom of two and women’s health ambassador with over 50 million views of her Ovia Pregnancy video series chronicling her journey to motherhood.

Prior to Ovia Health, Gina was the founder of Automatic Apparel, an automated retail company for electronics and apparel sold through vending machines located in international airports and transportation hubs - featured in the Boston Herald, Martha Stewart Show, CNN, and USA Today.

Gina began her career in engineering and manufacturing at Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems, supervising assembly line production of spaceflight hardware.

Natalie Baumgartner, PhD, is the chief workforce scientist and director of the Achievers Workforce Institute, the research and insights arm of Achievers, the employee recognition and engagement platform. She has spent her career advising companies of all sizes, from entrepreneurial startups to Fortune 500 firms, on issues related to company culture. Specifically tackling key-hire assessment and portfolio due-diligence issues, she has found success analyzing what most overlook: the human element.

Previously, Baumgartner was the founder and chief psychologist of RoundPegg, a software platform designed to help companies understand their culture from the ground up to create cultural alignment and higher organizational performance. RoundPegg was acquired by Achievers.

Baumgartner earned her BA in psychology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, her MA in clinical psychology at UCLA, and her PhD in clinical psychology from the University of Denver, with a specific focus on assessment and additional training in strength-based psychology.

Tracie Hall is a human capital and talent management alchemist with keen organizational strategy acumen. Always with a diversity, equity and inclusion lens intact, her career includes global Big 4 business strategy, operations, and enterprise systems implementation; labor relations; and executive business advisory for privately held, non-profit, higher education, K-12, the public sector and publicly traded companies.

Tracie, a certified mediator, arbitrator and change management professional, earned her MBA and BA at Rice University, her MS at Carnegie Mellon University and her JD at The University of Houston Law Center. She received her law license and became a State of Texas Bar Association member in November 2017.
