Rethinking Early Career Hiring: Turning High Volume Into High Confidence

Early career hiring has become more difficult to manage. Application volumes remain high, AI has made it easier for candidates to polish their presentations, and traditional signals such as GPA, resume quality, and educational background often provide limited insight when candidates have little or no work experience. In this executive panel discussion, we’ll explore how organizations can move from managing applicant volume to building confidence in hiring. We'll focus on defining potential more clearly, moving beyond weaker proxies, and using more objective, work-relevant evidence earlier in the process. Panelists will explore how organizations can cut through top-of-funnel noise, identify high-potential talent at scale, and create a hiring journey that is faster, more transparent, and more credible for both candidates and decision-makers.
